Hi,

I use a brailliant 40. What I have to do is:

O On startup, wait for WE to come up, shut off we, plug in the unit and
restart WE
O When I want to remove the display and leave the computer running, I shut
off WE, remove the display and restart WE
O When I re-connect the display, I have to shut down WE, plug in the unit
and restart WE.

Kinda a pain, but, it works otherwise.

Regards.. Joe Lanier

Subject: Braille Display working but have one question

I plugged my Pac Mate 40 Braille display in this morning, told WE to find it
and it worked like a charm. Maybe my computer was exhausted from yesterday's
escapades with Total Recorder. I then unplugged the display and reconnected
it. I had to restart Windows to get it to recognize. Is it always necessary
to restart Window-Eyes or even Windows itself before a Braille display shows
up? Thanks.
