You must have your braille display plugged in and turned on before you turn
on your PC.

Subject: Braille Display working but have one question
I plugged my Pac Mate 40 Braille display in this morning, told WE to find
it
and it worked like a charm. Maybe my computer was exhausted from
yesterday's
escapades with Total Recorder. I then unplugged the display and
reconnected
it. I had to restart Windows to get it to recognize. Is it always
necessary
to restart Window-Eyes or even Windows itself before a Braille display
shows
up? Thanks.
