Hi. I used to use mirc a lot and never had this problem but I haven't used
it in a year or so.
Which version of mirc are you using? I just checked their site and it says
that 6.34 is the newest.
Also, are you using the evaluation copy or the registered mirc? I had
problems with the demo copy of it when I first used it and had to pay for it
right away because the reminder crashed wineyes.
I haven't tried the new version with the beta yet though.

Hey all, I am using Window-eyes 7.0 beta2. It seems Window-eyes negatively
interacts with mIRC. Over the course of my chat session, mIRC consumes
more and more memory as time elapses, then refuses to let me type
altogether. I believe I have confirmed this as a Window-eyes
problem,because all my friends using Window-eyes have this problem, and
myfriends using JAWS don't. Furthermore, I had no mIRC problems when I
used JAWS for two days.
