I also had the shut down problem a handful of times with beta one, but so far, beta 2 has addressed the issue or it just hasn't happened yet.

Yes, the beta works but my notebook will not shut down or restart. To shut down the computer, I have to press alt-f4, u and then press and release the on/off switch. Any ideas?
