And, you have to uninstall your ETI Eloquence engines from within add/ remove programs before switching to the ECI Eloquence, which is found in the synthesizers list box under the name Eloquence. To remove the ETI Eloquence, you must first temporarily switch to another synth, like the GW Micro-supplied DEC Talk synth, before removing the ETI engines. Get the ETI common run time module too, just to be safe.
