The Nuance (formerly Scansoft) synthesizers are generally very good if you want natural sounding speech. For samples of the various voices, go to www.nextup.com. You can only buy voices from them if you buy one of their products such as TextAloud, which is a great little program anyway. The Nuance voices work well with WE and fairly responsive.
