George, I had the same problem you had regarding not being able to differentiate between read, unread, replied, forwarded, attachments, etc on my Outlook 07 e-mail. I tried all kinds of settings with my Vista machine, and I ultimately had my sighted daughter help me label every graphic. It now even tells me when I have a high or low importance message come in if I want to hear that.
