Hi, thank you for that but: it doesn't work the same way as Vista does. There is no option for Window-Eyes and on vista there was.

However, you may not know of a new Vista feature that lets you control the volume of windows sounds separately from that of other audio sources like the window eyes speech synthesizer. just open the run dialog and enter: SndVol and press enter. You'll start an application that lets you mute or control the volume of each sound source separately. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission [EMAIL PROTECTED] (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) > -----Original Message----- > From: Ginger Roe [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, August 29, 2008 3:19 PM > To: Chip Orange > Subject: RE: vista with window eyes > > Hi, no that can't happen. > I did notice that Most of Vistas sounds are very low and barely > audible.
