Yes, and my preference, the thinkpad X series (just wanted to mention it
for possible evaluation).

Probably all good choices, but they're not the same animal as one that
belt-clips on (the SmallTalk ultra).

You can even get a soft usb travel keyboard for it (it rolls up or folds
up so it can fit into a pocket), so you're not throwing a bag over your
shoulder.

And with windows vista speech recognition and bluetooth, there's a good
chance you'll be able to set it up with a bluetooth headset to be a
hands-free computer.  This would require you learn the optional product
called Windows Speech Recognition Macros and the scripting options of
window eyes, but it's something I'm going to explore soon.

Is there anyone here from GW who can comment to us as to whether the
SmallTalk Ultra's processor is sufficient to handle windows speech
recognition?
