If you have a phome that connects to your home phome line it will work with
this thing. Plus it will work anywhere you can yse a computer connected to
high speed internet.

Depends what you mean.
If you mean a stand alone wifi skype phone that does nothing else it's
barely usable.
You can dial a phone number and answer a call of course but you won't be
able to read your contact list or anything on the screen.
A smartphone that runs a program like Mobile Speak may also run Skype and
that should work but that is something entirely different.
