On one occasion before installing the latest GW Toolkit and Homer Shared Objects, I couldn't get Skype to load. Turning off WE scripting let me in and then everything was good. The problem has not recurred.
I was getting a runtime error after installing Beta 3, but that was because Clutz forgot to recheck the checkbox in Skype allowing WE to have access.
