Try reading kb articles 1050 and 1067 from www.gwmicro.com/kb and see if
those answer your questions. In short, you can copy an existing install
of WE, but to make it easiest, choose the mobile install from the cd,
during the install when it prompts you for which directory to install WE
to, choose browse and then choose a folder in your removable media. i
usually go with x:\WE where x is your removable drive letter.
Hope this helps.
Kevin Barry said the following on 8/30/2008 12:44 PM:
I'm attempting to install WE on a flash drive.
I am not asking about video support or creating an autorun file, but I
am having trouble simply installing WE.
From the advanced menu of the WE installation screen one choice is WE
mobile.
This appears to do nothing at all.
I've tried it on two computers both running XP and WE 6.1.
Can I copy over the already installed program from one of these
computers?
If so what directories do I copy?
After all it appears WE is installed under program files but sets etc
are under each user id under application data.
Thanks for the help.
