Curtis (and others)

I think that it was wise, at least at this stage, that GWMicro stuck to
only only supplying scripts produced in-house.
It is hard enough to control these; but to be able to warrant the work of
3rd parties is difficult.
Furthermore, sending folks to script central is a *must* as supplied
scripts can easily become outdated and need to be replaced.
Why blind users are so afraid of the web is beyond me. Updating software
is standard practice.
This is done with antivirus and system protection software, TurboTax,
database programs, you name it.
Perhaps what GWMicro needs to consider, in the future, is constructing
some sort of automated retrieval process that would make certain that
folks are running truly up-to-date scripts, etc.
Who knows that perhaps this somehow is at the root of the problems we see
reported here; and perhaps it might be 1 or 2 scripts that somehow is the
culprit.
I have had no issues for the last day or so with scripting mostly turned
off.
Moreover, when scripting is turned on, I have disabled both the
autocomplete (supplied) script as well as the alternate menu one.
I am sure some pattern, over time, will emerge that will explain all this.

Be good and true; be patient; be undaunted. Leave your usefulness for God to
estimate.
He will see to it that you do not live your life in vain.
