Note if you select the open option then the install will go ahead. How this works is the file to be opened is downloaded to a temp folder and then opened right there. Thus saving you the effort of having to open the package after download. As I said the only package I would urge you to save to disk and keep in a safe place is the install packages because this script is used to get all of the other newest latest and greatest packages. I personally save everything in the public downloads folder but that is just me. As for what you do with it. if you mean how do you install it you can do this by pressing inter and following the prompts. -----Original Message----- From: Sandra Fouts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, October 02, 2008 6:23 AM To: jim grimsby Jr.; Robert Grimwood Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: This is probably a really silly question Okay here's my question. Just where would you want it to go. The install package ended up on my desktop. So now just what do I do with it? Thanks. A dialog will come up asking you if you want to save the file or open it. select save tell it where you want it to go and press enter. Now it will be on your drive verses installing itself. The only package I think you really need to do this with is the install packages script but that is just me.
