That's what I do.  Save the script to the hd and then open it.
I think the reason the question came up as this seems sort of a strange
anomaly which most of us have never seen before and those who haven't seen
it believe it to be impossible.
Well, it's possible as I've seen this on 2 xp home machines running ie6.
I never like the open option anyway so this matters none to me.
