Anyone can send out a fake email and make it look from anyone else. This
is like me taking an envelope and putting Bill Gates for the return
address, and sending it off to someone telling them they won a million

I just got an obvious phish attempt that was made to look as though it
has come from GW micro in that it referred to my switching modes. The
mode switching is done automatically and no one need send me anything
except the 'bot. At the end was a message saying if I didn't want any
further advertisements to click on a link which I didn't do. Just
wondering how this happened. Looks really suspect to me but it may have
just been an error or something.
