Insert the WE 7.0 CD, press a for advanced, press e for WE emergency
removal, and follow the steps. You can use Narrator to read this if necessary.

Hi Listers and staff,
I had a strange thing happen on my laptop where my windows
xp home lost my russ environment and so created a temp environment
everytime I turned on the computer. It reverted xp back to
settings that are the defaults, and offers me a tour of xp, just as
if I'd just installed the operating system. Well, to make a long
story short, I rolled back to September 10, and my settings were
restored. Window-eyes, however, does not work. I tried to
uninstall it through the add remove programs aplet in control panel
and was told it couldn't be uninstalled. I tried running the setup
from the we 7.0 disc and was told that there was already a version
of window-eyes and wouldn't let me continue with the install. So,
what I need to do is use the emergency uninstall program I've heard
referenced on this list. Problem is, I can't find it on the disc
for we 7.0 or we 6.1! Where is it? I hope someone can help as I
hate not having we on my laptop!

suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
