Hi Listers and staff,

I had a strange thing happen on my laptop where my windows xp home lost my russ environment and so created a temp environment everytime I turned on the computer. It reverted xp back to settings that are the defaults, and offers me a tour of xp, just as if I'd just installed the operating system. Well, to make a long story short, I rolled back to September 10, and my settings were restored. Window-eyes, however, does not work. I tried to uninstall it through the add remove programs aplet in control panel and was told it couldn't be uninstalled. I tried running the setup from the we 7.0 disc and was told that there was already a version of window-eyes and wouldn't let me continue with the install. So, what I need to do is use the emergency uninstall program I've heard referenced on this list. Problem is, I can't find it on the disc for we 7.0 or we 6.1! Where is it? I hope someone can help as I hate not having we on my laptop!

Rusty

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
