You can assign a different hotkey to the speak time function.
Do you know how to assign hotkeys?

Eyes manual, but the way it works has always been a mystery to me. After I
press f6 things seem to get more complicated then Rubik's Cube. I would like
to know if there is a hot key to access the clock using a laptop. On a
regular key board insert T works very nicely. Then on a laptop to do the
same thing, holding down the second key from the left on the bottom row and
the letter m to get the insert key and then pressing the letter T, seems to
be a bit awkward. Do you folks know of a better way? Thanks,
