When it happens, I find his ever-decreasing pitch more amusing than anything else. And when you can get speech this clear and accurate, albeit a bit flat, why would one bother with a hardware synthesizer? Still, we all have different tastes and it's good that the options are available. I remember the first Dectalk synthesizer - bigger than the computer on my desk and costing more.
