Hi Russel, If you look in the scripts folder for sonar there should
be a patch to take care of the registry issue in this artical. Just
run the .reg file and you'll get a bit better joy.
I want to sell a client we 7 and sonar producer 7 and he is reluctant
to switch from jaws because it's scripted out the pipe. He needs the
stability though, and he needs the functionality of window-eyes on the
mac.
Anyway I'd be very greatful to hear about any of your experiences with
sonar 7 and window-eyes. I can't get a demo to put it through it's
paces myself.
Thanks,

Hi Listers and staff,
I'm trying to do some work in sonar 7 on an hp pavilion
system running vista home premium using we 7.01. I can open the
project I want, I can play it, but we will not read track names or
anything else associated with the track, pan, volume, effects bin,
etc. I press a up or down arrow to try to move from track to track
and nothing is spoken. I press right and left arrows to go to
another parameter in the track layout and again, nothing is spoken.
Has anyone got experience using these three pieces of software
together that can advise me how to get we to speak? I remember in
earlier versions there used to be a file to run that made sonar
speak properly, but I could find no reference to anything like this
in the most current we readme file. Any advice is greatly
appreciated!
Thanks,
Rusty
