Diskkeeper is superior, in my opinion, because of the boot-time defrag. This
is, of course, just my opinion.

Would you explain what these packages do that is superior to other disk
defrageers, or is it ease of use?

Hi everyone!
I've been working with some slower machines lately and I've found
something which grately improves the performance of Window-Eyes on
slower systems, systems with little memory and so forth, well 2 pieces
of software actually but both do the same job.
The first is that well known disk defragmentation software Diskeeper
which is available from http://www.diskeeper.com, the home edition will
do but you're better off purchasing the "Pramier Pro" version if you
can, does more.
If you want to avoid Diskeeper altogether then a free piece of software
called JKdefrag is around, I have it on "My Sendspace", go to
http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/3uqghp and download.
JKdefragment has 1 problem, you can use it or schedule it under Windows
as you would any other application but it works best at boot time udner
Safe Mode when the minimum of files are open and every system seems to
be different as to when the menu allowing you to boot into Safe Mode
pops up whilst booting so for that reason alone, I'd once again
recommend Diskeeper where operations are fully automated and you can set
boot time defragmentation if you need to.
