Hi, They do play nicely pretty much.
I believe enter is the play button. Put in the dvd and press enter
once it has finished spinning up. Then press enter again to go to
title one chapter one.
Press alt left arrow and alt right arrow to go to previous and next
chapters.
To choose the a chapter from a list, open the go menue.
Choose the title you want.
Then I believe you have to open the go menue again and choose the
chapter you want.
I'm not really clear on this point because I think I'm getting vlc
confused with dvd player on the mac.
Sufice it to say that the menue bar is fully accessable by pressing
alt and using the arrow keys, and that most options have coresponding
keybord short cuts that window-eyes will announce. I also have a list
of default keystrokes here somewhere. I'll dig it out and send it.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I'll pay for something if I have to,
but I was hoping the free one would work. So, I downloaded vlc, but
can't get WindowEyes to read anything on the screen. What do I need
to do to make them play nicely together?
Thanks,
Melissa

Hi, I really like PowerDVD for this process, but if you need
something lower end and free to be getting on with, VLC works quite
well.

I have an exercise dvd that has a menu to access different
routines contained on the dvd. It won't play with Windows Media
Player, because, it says I do not have a dvd codix installed. I
don't know why that is, because I have a dvd drive. What program
can I use, that is accessible with WindowEyes 7, and will give me
access to the menus?
Thanks,
Melissa
