Yes Bruce but GW Micro has repeated many times that System Restore is not
the best thing to use unless you don't have a lot of files in your computer
is what I think. I did a system restore aa few years ago and it screwed up
the computer worse and had to have a professional fix what system restore
skipped when restoring. I lost files because they couldn't be repared. Only
use System Restore as a very last resort my friends. Now, on my new note
book we had to use it in safe mode because of a windows update that gave me
files that did not apply to me and The computer wouldn't not start up but I
am happy to say that everything worked fine but I didn't have many files on
the netbook. Best Regards, Craig B. Richcreek

Subject: same problem
Hi all: I had the same problem with advast, and the only way to get rid
of it was to use the system restore, and that fixed it.
