One explain why the solutions to help you deal with the loss of speech are
not enough.

Have you tried the kill wineyes utility and the relaunch script. also gw
micro has said they are working on the Microsoft bug that causes speech to
stop when programs don't respond. Every screen reader has this problem.
The solution for now is to use the relaunch script to restart window-eyes so
you can read the system dialog. If window-eyes fails the solution is to use
the kill wineyes utility to kill window-eyes and then use your short cut to
restart it. so please explain why these are not working for you.

3 and 4 gw micro has already stated is being done. 4 kind of depends from
what I understand on Microsoft getting mirror driver implementation. So it
seems to me all four issues are in the works with good solutions already for
number one.

I understand your point of view.

II agree taht the person who is working on java with a script is great news.

But, what about the 4 issues we mentioned ... can you comment on them?

1. Better way to deal with the loss of speech.

2. You already answered the java issue.

3. Fix browse mode.

4. support for 64bit os.

Subject: Questions About the Direction of Window-eyes

Hi, Sam. With all due respect, many comments were made regarding requests
and suggestions for scripts. Was I one of the people who suggested scripts?
Nope, but what a powerful tool indeed.

As Aaron said, stay uned, smile. Some enterprising author is working on a
script for java support. I do agree with Cory and hope that a script can be
incorporated into future versions of Window-eyes.

I responded privately to one of the members of this list for what I
considered to be an unnecessary comment for everybody to read on such a list
as this.
