Steve W hy won't Outlook 2007 allow you to read mail in html format? Is it a WE or MS thing?
Surely it makes sense to read in this format as it allows quick and easy access to links etc sent using e mail. Puzzling! As far as I can see, it works fine with Window-Eyes. The only thing I miss is that you can't read Emails in HTML format any more. I liked the convenience of knowing the links and such, but that's all. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: Pat Ferguson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday 10 January 2009 16:36 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Outlook 2007 and Window-Eyes Hi Everyone, I really love Window-Eyes, and GW Micro, and that will never change. <smile> I am kind of disappointed about the fact that Outlook is so weird with Window-Eyes. Now, I'm sure it's not their fault, but I would think that Microsoft would want to make this totally accessible. I like the concept of Outlook, but I'm afraide to start using it for my email, as I don't want to mess up my contacts, for my cell phone, which I've worked so hard to replace in Outlook, after I stupidly let Outlook delete them last fall. I was so happy to see that my contacts were still there last night, even though I tried to set up an email account with Outlook, I was not successful in setting up an email account with Outlook. Outlook did not mess up my contacts. I was estatic to see them there. I am sure this is not GW Micro's fault, however I wish they could some how get Microsoft to fix the problem, but maybe no one pressures Microsoft. <grin> I don't like that search thing, and I saw an article about that being a problem with Windows, so I've never downloaded that patch. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
