John we have passed this along to MS so unfortunately there isn't
anymore we can currently do. Also many non-screen-reader users don't
like this much more than you do as a google search will confirm.

Hi Jim,
Yes, I accept that it is a problem which impacts on all screen
readers, not just Window-eyes, that is well documented.
I have also said what the work round is.
I think that you suggest, accept this and work round it.
I am unclear why GW, as the manufacturer of my favoured screen
reader, and MS should not work together to provide a proper
resolution to the issue. After all, this does not have any impact on
any person using Outlook 2007 without a screen reader.

This is not a a window-eyes problem this is a outlook problem that
effects everyone. Just use the feature to view it in the browser.

Hello all,
There is also a problem with Outlook 2007 with formatted html mail.
The standard, word interface, within Outlook does not resolve it properly.
As soon as Window-Eyes starts talking about rows, columns and
tables, then I know it is an e-mail that is a problem.
The resolution to this is to use the browser to read the e-mail.
That is, use <alt>h x v and the e-mail is then fully accessible.
While there is a fully documented macro that could be used to work
round this, the issue I see with it is that you need to know it is a
mal-formed e-mail before you invoke the macro. So why not just use
the browser read option.
I really think that GW and MS should work out how to get round this.

Hi I am using it right now. Not sure what problems you speak
of. The only thing I can say that is a problem and it is an issue
with all office programs and window-eyes is that there is a
sluggish response to back space and other cursoring commands. Also
sometimes we gets a little happy repeating smart tag information
when as far as I can tell nothing has changed. Restarting we fixes it.
Other then those minor problems it works great.

Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking of switching to Outlook for my email, so I can have
both accounts in one place.
I need to know if the problems with Window-Eyes and Outlook 2007,
have been resolved.
Any help is so very gratefully appreciated.
Thanks a bunch.
