I've never seen this problem, but to answer Chip's question the WE
find command doesn't move the mouse pointer in browse mode it moves
the browse mode pointer since it searches the virtual browse mode buffer.

For some reason, I usually find that even when it says it found
something (control-shift-f), it does not move my pointer, but leaves me
at the top of the web page.
