Enhanced find script does not work well while you are in browse mode and since you don't use the mouse pointer, it seems pointless to have it running in the first place.

Hope this helps.

Thanks; I never use the mouse pointer, and so I should have been
clearer: it's the virtual pointer I find is not moved on a web page.
However, since I've never though to be sure the page is fully loaded
(maybe it starts speaking before it's loaded?) I'll do my next test with
that in mind.

I may have the enhanced find script loaded, would that make any
difference?

thanks.

Hello. Control-shift-f while in browse mode only affects the browse mode virtual cursor. This same command when done outside of browse mode will affect the mouse pointer and move it there.

For some reason, I usually find that even when it says it found
something (control-shift-f), it does not move my pointer,
but leaves me
at the top of the web page.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

thanks.
