Hi, I have a question about Word 2000. I used to know this but can't remember. How do I turn off the feature that reads (invisible) numbers in a sequential list? It's the program that's creating the list. For example, if I'm reading a recipe that says 3 cups of flour on line #1, and 1 tsp. of salt on line #2, WE will read: 3 cups of flour, 4-one-tsp. of salt."
When I look for the number 4 in the text, it's not there, so it's an invisible number that MSWord is unhelpfully putting in. It is confusing. How do I turn off this numeric-list-creation thing that MSWord is doing? Thanks so much. Penny If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
