I tried the audio captcha thing and it's almost as bad as Microsoft's. I have my phone registered, but, when I go to add a friend using the website, I don't receive the code. It seems my number is on there, but I also have something called Mobile International which doesn't have all my correct information. Thus, I send a message via my SMS to 32665 and say "add" and that does the trick. HTH
