No, I don't think there's a way of repairing window eyes; you should
however make sure you're running version 7.01.

You can hold down the shift key while outlook is starting, and that
starts outlook in safe mode (which means it doesn't load any of it's
add-ins).  I did have trouble with an add-in that Dell loaded on a new
pc for outlook.  It was listed in the programs which you could uninstall
as something like Cyberlink outlook add-in, and once I uninstalled that
particular outlook add-in everything was ok.  you could have some other
troublesome add-in, so holding down the shift key while outlook starts
may help you know if that is the problem.
