If you press tab and shift+tab, you can move between different controls like in a dialog or in programs like Outlook that will move you between the different panes on the screen. Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab will move you between frames on a web page, and also between tabs in a property sheet (multi-tabbed dialog box). Finally, the commands F6 and Shift+F6 will sometimes move between different panes.
