Hi Sandra, You can use the sound output of any converter which you find accessible, and feed it into any amplifier (such as a home stereo). this means that any converter at all is in effect a digital tv radio.
there was one, being sold in the UK so I don't know about it's availability here in the states, which was designed for those with low or no vision. it had special buttons to activate the SAP audio for instance, so that you didn't have to work your way through menus.
