I bet that with all that storage, if it can handle the VoiceWare
voices of Kate and Paul, it has decent processor speed and power,
that Dec_access32 could be added or made available, since doesn't
GW-Micro have the license for Dec_access32, Eloquence, etc. already
available? Human speech has it's uses and Kate and Paul are decent
voices, as is another one called Heather, from Acapella, but I must
admit the snappy responsiveness of Eloquence and even Dec_access32
for long texts which I am use too are preferable, because they
require less computer power to handle, and won't crash like the Paul
or Kate voices do when they get scrambled as Eloquence occasionally
does when certain combinations of letters hit them. :)

HI. I am most interested in this device and will probably get a couple but I
have a few questions first.
1. What tts engine are we using?
I have considered a vr streme but I can't stand the tts voice. Give me the
book courier voice any day over that awful thing.
2. What type of battery and how long can one expect from a charge on
average. I primarily listen to etext material.
3. is there an internal speaker?
4. Can it handle sd hc cards?
Brian.
