hello. Since we are not sure what state you Window-Eyes installation is
at this point, the best thing to do is remove Window-Eyes using the
Emergency removal tool. Also, if all you have is version 6.0, you cannot
upgrade to 7.01 via the upgrade method as that skips a version. You will
have to install 7.01 from an actual 7.01 CD.

Hi, all. Well, I'm still doing battle with this computer after
downgrading to version 6.0 from 7.01, which we uninstalled. For some
reason, when I restarted the computer, it kept thinking WE was already
running, even though it wasn't. So I set it to not start
automatically. But I still see it under programs\startup. Should I
delete it from there as well? I have no idea what happened to this
'puter, but it has sure messed up WE, and it's caused Firefox to not
open, but that's another story for another list. But if someone can
tell me how to fix WE so it won't think it's running when it's not, and
tell me how to get from my latest CD (6.0) back to 7.01, I'll be forever
grateful.
