Houdy, unfortunately no, only the most generic services are loaded in safe mode. There aren't any drivers loaded for speech, USB ports, serials ETC. You'll need sighted assistance for working around in there. There was once a time when if you had an external synthesizer with window-eyes installed on it and windows 98 you actually could do it.
