Yup, I had the same problem with IE8. At the time I installed the update, Bookshare's home page had 81 links. But with IE8, it had only 28. When I rolled back to IE7, it went back up to the larger number of links it had before. The same problem occurred with Bookshare's volunteer home page, which had a much larger number of links with IE7 than it did with IE8.

I also had another problem when I was running IE8. When I tried to enter search queries, I would go out of browse mode, but when I hit "enter" to do the search, one of the links below the search form would be activated instead of the search being done. This problem was also fixed when I went back to IE7.

I'm using win xp pro sp3 WE 7.01 and IE 8.

When I go to www.bookshare.org and I come to the home page after logging
in WE fails to identify numerous links on this page.

It doesn't matter if I use the list view insert-tab or simply arrow down
thru the links. WE reads the text but doesn't recognize them as links.

For example this page has a link labeled as "find books" We reads this
as text and pressing enter on it doesn't activate it.

If I go to the site map thWE does recognize it.

I don't know if the html is different between these two pages on their
site or if this is a WE failure.

I certainly cannot rule out user error for I'm pretty new to WE, but
this seems like a function issue.

Is anyone else having this issue?
