Because we've actually seen it solve the problem. We just don't make
up stuff for people to try for fun <smile>. Why not take 10 minutes
to try it and if it doesn't work then you've only lost 10
minutes. We don't know why this works in some cases, but suspect it
is a corruption of some componet or the registration of some componet
that the removal and reinstall fixes.
