I installed skype 4.1 beta and it does work much better with WE than 4.0 did. If you go to tools then options, check the first box and skype will call people in the contact list when you hit enter on them. Another thing that helped is another radial button in the general tab which switches the screen from skype to classic windows. Things didn't read at all until I flipped that radial button.

I think it will be much better in terms of accessability.
