I'm responding to Vaughan's comment that I've included after my message. I'm also very happy with the new scripting capabilities we now have in Window-Eyes. However here in Australia I think one of the biggest problems is that there is a perception especially in some of the blindness agencies that Window-Eyes is good for home and recreational use but not a screen reader that can be used in Employment. I have no doubt that with scripts Window-eyes can definitely be used in the workplace but unfortunately at least in Australia this isn't the perception of a lot of people. It has been my experience that here many blind and vision impaired job seekers aren't given a choice of what screen reader they want to use in employment and it is assumed that they will use JAWS. What I find frustrating about this is that sometimes people are forced to learn how to use JAWS even though they might have been using Window-Eyes or another screen reader for several years because some of the blindness agencies here don't seem to be openminded enough to give job seekers a choice of screen readers.
