You are really just preaching to the choir here. Yes, Of course, I already
know the things that you are saying and as I have said, it was a very quick
typed email and I didn't realize that it sounded like I was just blaming GW
Micro but that wasn't what it to do but in this day and age, We need the
list but not the spam that it could generate. I agree, I should have picked
my words much more carefully but as I have to say again. it was quick and
short. I still that GW could realize that in these times the spammers are
something to avoid in almost every aspect of computerdum. In all of this,
you have not offered anything that I didn't already know. I'm not a babe in
the woods. But thanks anyway. Regards, Craig B Richcreek

Yes, I did say it. I was lucid when I said it. LOL So are we spam
free yet? There are many ways to get on the receiving end of spam without
being on email lists. Unforunetaly, its a fact of life on the Internet
and until Congress acts, which is not likely, we have to live with it.
Using business email addresses on lists is not wise. Bitching at GW Mirco
for operating a public support list is also not smart.
You have options. I cannot tell you how many times I have won the UK
lottories or been warned of compromised bank accounts at banks I have
never used in my life. But I am getting far fewer now than I have before
and been using this email address for over 4 years.
As one who is operating a business, you could be a bit more savvy. Use
a new address for GW only and see if you go spam free after a few weeks or
months. Use another new one for surfing. Chances are that one will get
spammed a lot sooner.
