I have a question -- or rather a hypothetical question. When using a laptop, I have my keyboard layout set to laptop. However, when I use a standard sized keyboard with my laptop, I have to select the default keyboard layout. Now for my question:
Would it be possible to have a script automatically change the keyboard layout to default when I plug in a standard windows keyboard and then automatically change the keyboard layout back to laptop when I unplug the standard keyboard? I know the laptop itself has to detect the u s b keyboard. On the other hand, am I hypothetically trying to build a skyscraper out of toothpicks and paper clips?
