Found the problem. Despite having disabled Message Pane, this option
was again checked. As of now, the only option I have checked under
View/Layout, is Classic View and so far, the 3.03 beta appears to be as
accessible as the previous with Window-eyes.

As I understand it Windows 7 will not include any kind of Email application.
Then if you look at Microsoft Office Home and student edition which is
fairly reasonable in price Outlook is not included. So Apps like
Thunderbird may become more important to more users.

Subject: Re: Newest Version of Thunderbird
It's 3.03 and it's driving me nuts. I have to tab around to get into the
body of a message in order to read it. If these people don't make up their
mind as to what type of interface they're going to use, I may end up
ditching TB.

Hello all,
I was just prompted to install a new version of thunderbird - 3.0 B4,
I think it was - and I have noticed some interface changes. I am used
to pressing enter on a message and reading it in the message window
that pops up. Now, however, it appears as if the message is opening in
the same window thus requiring that I tab over several buttons and
other controls in order to read the message. I then just read the
message and hit delete to move onto the next one but this is not the
desired behavior; I wish simply to read the message, press escape,
return to the message list, arrow down, and continue reading that way.
Has anyone experienced this new behavior? Furthermore, does anyone have
any ideas?
I disabled the message sidebar, which enables me to tab through the
message list and folder list, but the same undesired behavior occurs
upon selecting a message.
Thanks,
Robby
