Dear List: Occasionally, upon closing Outlook Express with alt-F4, I get a message asking me if I want to compact disk space. After answering yes, it says compacting, and the progress bars tell me how far along the compacting is coming along. Then, there is that disaster tone that sounds and the message saying that the folder is in use by Outlook or another application. I hit OK and I am placed back on the desktop. Should I be concerned? Should I do anything about this? Any ideas? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
