Shannon,
I knew a person that had Jaws, Window Eyes and NVDA all on the same machine.
It didn't seem to create any problems.

Subject: Re: Healthy Debate: JAWS Versus Window-Eyes
Good morning,
It is quite the coincidence that this is a topic of interest for me.
I have posted here before that my company is switching the accounting
program that we use.
WE 7.1 doesn't work with it all that well. The pull downs and look up
windows require scripts to run. The accounting company looked into having
WE
scripts written for it through a couple scripting companies, but could get
no answers about any time frame, only to be told that it would cost
anyware
from 5000.00 to 10,000.00 dollars to accomplish. The other company waited
a
week for further information but none was forth coming. So they went to
Jaws
and downloaded a trial and low and behold it worked, and it only costs
about
$1000.00. So now the big question is will Jaws and WE coexist on the same
machine? or do I have to give up WE?
Thanks to any answers.
Shannon

"GW Info" [email protected] The Attitude Test on the Global Voice there
was some healthy
debate about why people prefer JAWS or Window-Eyes and limited
discussion about the good and bad points of other screen readers. You
can download this recording as an MP3 file by going to
www.theglobalvoice.info and then selecting the Programme Galery link.
Once you get to the program galery the program you need is the Attitude
Test and the edition where this topic was discussed is the program for
the 23rd of August. This file is 107MB and may only be available for a
limited time.
