I'm a veteran of many years of using Dragon Naturally Speaking, both
with JAWS and Window-Eyes. I'm not exactly certain that one needs the
J-Say scripts to run Dragon with JAWS, but I used it. Frankly, the copy
protect mechanisms were so clunky and awkward that I wouldn't recommend
it. I was never able to install J-Say properly.
I now use Naturally Speaking version 10 with Window Eyes quite handily,
with no scripts.
Naturally Speaking is so much better than the earlier versions ...
Well,, there is no comparison.
Scripts would make it a little handier, but they aren't essential, and
you do need to follow certain suggestions in the options section of the
configuration. For example, run Dragon in the System Tray.
