My wife and I used to own a car.

Being completely honest here, my initial reaction to this question was,
"this is one of the stupidest questions I have ever been asked." But upon
reflection, I guess some blind folks would never consider that we might
wish to own cars, trucks, boats, and/or motorcycles. I have owned all of
these. As a matter of fact, I used to restore vintage corvettes. I still
work on cars, and still build engines. I have been building engines,
including high-performance and racing engines since I was 12, and I'll be
59 in a couple of weeks.
So, perhaps you guys will understand my initial reaction, though I didn't
voice it. There is absolutely nothing unusual about me owning vehicles,
regardless of what kind they happen to be.

Hey, Alen,
I thought you couldn't see.

I have XM in my pickup truck. It works just like any other radio. You
can
use presets if you wish, or just tune up and down the channels with a up
and
down buttom, or by turning a knob. In my case, the radio has XM, FM,
and
AM. All in one unit which is also combined with Onstar.

Hi,
I want it to connect to my i-pal, because I like the sound of it and I
want
to be able to move it easily from room to room. As I said, I don't know
anything about XM radio. From what I have heard, you need to have a
speaker
source if you have a portable unit.
