Hi, all. I tried doing insert-t on my netbook (once I located insert) to
check the time, but instead of saying the time and date, WE said the title
of the application I was in. I double checked with key describer to make
sure I was using the right keys, and I was. Even key describer didn't
recognize it as the time/date hotkey. Is there some other way I'm supposed
to do this with a netbook, or could this indicate that our netbook is
interpreting the insert-t as something else, and I'll have to find out what
once my husband and I can go through the manual?
Also, speaking of time, I installed the hourly chime script on the netbook,
and right around 3:00,I lost speech and had to reboot. I'm thinking
netbooks can't handle multiple sounds, so I uninstalled the script. Do any
of you guys use the hourly chime script on your netbooks?
Peggy
