So, I have it set on advance and laptop is checked, so how does it work if
its set on laptop.
Is my capslock key going to be an insert key now? If it is then its not
working because it still says caps on caps off.

open the w e keyboard pull down menu and arrow to the keyboard layout.
the
layout that w e is currently useing will be checked. change it to the
laptop
layout and save the set file.
